F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1920 novel, The Great Gatsby, is going to be hitting the big screen very soon. In anticipation of seeing this movie, I had to do two things: reread the book and create an outfit that I would wear if I went to the premiere. I based this outfit off of the following 3 concepts: Red Lips, Opulence, and femininity.

E.Z. Mo Breezy does it again. This southern themed party can get VERY hot VERY quickly if you're not positioned in the correct path of airflow. With that being said I wanted a top that wouldn't allow for large sweat circles and bottoms that allowed for freedom of movement. It's difficult to be a bucket of sweat and still feel hot (no pun intended lol). These patterned crop tops should mask any sweat circles that come about while still providing a great contrast to the stretchy riding pants. I also loved that it's a themed event so I wanted to pull out my finest matching head gear. Lastly, no party is complete without a signature bag, I'll always prefer Chanel.

I'm heading to a wedding this spring down in Tennessee and of course I have to bring my NYC flavor with me. The colors are blue and white and I already owned a formal navy dress. I wanted to be glamorous but not flashy. The metallic and or Lucite detailing should help me pop without doing too much.

I am in love with these overalls and plan to wear them to Made in America. In order to pack lightly, I turned the outfit from day to night using only a change in footwear and bag.
